Christian entertainers should not be so hard to find, but in today’s society it is better to use profanity and off color humor to make a joke than good clean jokes that the entire family can listen to. However, most would agree that being able to listen to music that all could listen to without embarrassment over the lyrics would be good. The Word of God has been spread through music since the beginning of time, and continues strong today with Christian music in the rise all over the charts. From rap to country more and more people are turning back to God’s music.

Faith based movies have started making a big comeback at the box office. During the last few years the number of faith based movies has grown, and the number of big named actors staring in these movies is also on the rise. Movie studios are starting to take notice of these number that are reflected in both the box office ticket sales but also in the DVD rental and sales numbers. As more of these movies are produces, God’s message will reach more people through a bigger media.

Sometimes a different or alternative event may be needed to meet the requirements of the organization. In these cases, a DJ, dance troop or Christian speaker may fit the requirements of the group a little better. These alternate types of functions would work well for limited budgets or for a specific type of event that a Church has planned. But what ever the event, a faith based performer is one who is acting in God’s place.
