There is nothing so exciting as to watch a child await for an important day like Easter. They know that they are going to get super baskets filled with all sorts of treats, as Mom has come up with yet more brilliant Easter Party Ideas for the children.
When it comes to the actual egg, one can really go all the way. Get a few class mates together at home and start a pre-Easter decorating project. Try to get even numbers, say four in a team. Give them a theme, like for instance farm animals, the egg head family, or various cartoon figures. If the children are very small give them hard boiled eggs to decorate.
Be sure to have plenty of pipe cleaners, glue, cardboard rolls, paints, material pieces and anything you can spare from your needle box. For the older children you could let them make party eggs, by blowing out the yoke first which takes a bit of practice. Get them to paint on glitter, beads and sequined and make a rock star or super hero.
Another fun activity is to get a whole lot of jelly beans. Give each child a color to choose from and get them to follow the trail which you had set up the previous night. Give them some words in a plastic egg at a few pit stops, which will spell out a sentence. Once they are back at base with all their plastic eggs, then only are they allowed to have their Easter basket filled to the brim with goodies.
They need to bring it back to the Easter Bunny base where they are going to choose their prize. The same will go for the older children. Get your Easter Party Ideas from children, listen to what makes them excited and build on that.
