The Micro-Needling Roller is a hand held device with many gama sterilized tiny needles which, {when rolled over the skin}, carefull separate the pores of the top layer of skin and set off the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen is essential for skin to heal

It is the production of this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the main source of the development of skin conditions such as stretch marks and wrinkles is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin goes back to its firm state. When the skin gets injured, such as a cut, the skin repairs itself enough to remain healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t recognise that scars are undesirable.

In order to remove stretch marks, acne scars and face wrikles, the skin needs to think that there is reason to restart the healing process producing more collagen and elastin, micro-needling achieves this by carefully opeing the pores of the upper layer of skin giving the impression of the skin being damaged and in need of repair. Repeating the process of Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.

Is Micro Needling the best option?

In compasison to other procedures, Micro-Needling is much more cost effective and more productive then practices such as only using creams as the skin absorbes only a tiny percentage of creams applied, however when applied after using the skin roller the creams are absorbed significantly better as the pores are open.
