To me there is nothing more fun than going out and playing paintball. It’s intense, fun, filled with action, and when the day is done it leaves me feeling great and a little more experienced. If you are here reading this, you probably feel the same way.
If you want to become a better paintball player something you will need to do is to play more often. The more games you play the better you should get. As with everything in life, the more you practice and the more you do it, the better you’ll get.
There is one way, however to accelerate your skill level faster, and become a better paintball player without having as much game experience as other paintball players.
The next time you are playing paintball, find the best and most experienced paintball players that you will be playing with and model them. During the game, watch how they handle certain situations, watch how they play, and if you get eliminated by them, take note of how they did it.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask experienced players for their paintball tips. Some experienced players are not helpful to “newbies” and may not give you anything but rude remarks. If someone refuses to give you any paintball tip, don’t sweat it, just ask someone more mature.
If you get into a conversation with a good player you can tell them something like, “I had trouble in that last game, (insert what you think you did wrong or what happened here).” They most likely have been in similar situations and may give you a few paintball tactics to help you do better in the next game.
Take the time to learn paintball tactics from players who have had lots of experience. They learned these paintball tactics from years of playing. If you learn what they learned in years just after 10 minutes of talking to them, you will become a better paintball player faster.
