There is a lot of misinformation about what it actually takes to lose weight going around these days. And contrary to what most weight loss pill, berry and supplement manufacturers would like you to believe, you don’t really need all that stuff to reach your weight loss goals. The first thing you have to do is actually lose the weight and here is an excellent tip to help you lose weight immediately. Stop drinking anything that contains sugar. Instead of drinking sodas, juices and other high calorie drinks instead drink ice cold water. Water doesn’t have any calories so you’ll lose weight because you’ll be consuming fewer calories per day if you don’t change how much you eat.

One of the worst mistakes you can make if you’re trying to lose weight is eat high calorie and high sugar snacks between meals. Furthermore did you know that nine out of ten times when you crave a snack between meals you’re not hungry you’re actually thirsty. The best thing you can do is drink water instead of snacking unnecessarily. If you’re still hungry a few minutes then go ahead and snack but just make sure to have something healthy! Water is great for your body and it’s a great weight loss tool so make sure to drink whenever possible.

Unfortunately losing weight and having a lean body requires discipline and when it comes to weight loss discipline comes in the form of sugar. Ah yes sugar we all love it and most of us have a horrible time trying to stay away from it. Stay disciplined and strong as often as possible and follow the workout detailed below to get rid of the fat that’s already around your waist and to burn off that sugar you had after dinner last night.

Once you reduce the amount of calories you consume, you can accelerate your fat and weight loss by exercising. Exercising will not only burn more calories while you’re doing it but it usually also increases your metabolism for a better portion of the day and if you do what is recommended here you’ll reap the benefits of a revved up metabolism for the entire day.

Exercise is great for your body and health period but if your goal is a leaner body then here is how and what you should do it. Any form of cardio exercise performed in the morning will lead to a higher metabolism for a good portion of your day which means your body will naturally burn more calories throughout the day naturally as a result of that exercise. Talk to your doctor before you do any exercise. Do your exercise first thing in the morning and on an empty stomach and you will literally melt the fat off your body.

Performing some kind of low impact cardio will put your body into fat burning mode. By low impact I mean nothing too rigorous where you’ll be breathing too hard. That may seem counter productive but this is the type of exercise that is best suited for burning fat not necessarily burning calories. There is a difference.

If you can’t decide between a fat burning workout and a cardio workout for your hear then interval training is for you. Interval training has been around for several years now and basically combines fat burning exercises with cardio exercise. In a nutshell you go hard for a couple of minutes then you go slow for a couple of minutes and you do that back and forth for about twenty minutes.

Finally since you’re already attacking the fat that’s on your body and losing weight since you’re consuming fewer calories per day, it’s time to look at preventing any more fat from being stored around your hopefully soon to be visible mid section. The best tip we can offer here is to not eat any carbohydrates and preferably not any food 2-3 hours before bed time.

The food you consume before you go to bed normally gets converted to fat. Your body pretty much has nothing else to do with it since most of your bodily functions shut down while you’re sleeping. So don’t give your body anything to have to store away. Again if you’re feeling hungry at night try a cold glass of water before resorting to snacking.

The tips outlined above are obviously free and they won’t cost you any money to implement. The key to losing weight and having a lean body is reducing your caloric intake and getting rid of the fat that is already on your body. By following the tips outlined in this article you’ll do just that.
