When you lie to yourself enough it has to becomes truth and your subconscious mind does not have the ability to reject an idea, that is why affirmations are wonderful. Deliberately choose your own thoughts. For example I am so happy and grateful i choose only to eat those foods which are healthy for me. Doing this helps you keep your focus on your goal.
As well as doing the mental work (thoughts and feelings) it is also important to do the physical work (actions) like going for regular acupuncture, exercising and eating the right foods, dieting and cleansing. Doing six daily tasks everyday towards your goal and writing them out the night before will make profound changes over a period of time.
