If you are planning on building a career on the web, it is absolutely critical that you find reliable web hosting, otherwise you will pay the consequences. I don’t care who you are. If you don’t have trustworthy hosting company, you’ll never have success.

If I had to pick one mistake that new webmasters make, is that they look at the price tag, when picking a hosting company. They don’t seem to realize the majority of the time, they are getting exactly what they are paying for.

Finding a reliable web hosting is much easier than you think. First off, make sure that the hosting company has been around for quite some time and has some history. The longer they have been around the more trustworthy theyll be. You also need to know that you can get a hold of them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If and when you encounter a problem you need to know that it can be fixed quickly.

There is nothing more frustrating for an internet user than waiting for what seems like an eternity for a web page to load properly. In the impatient times we live in now, almost nobody is going to wait more than 10 seconds for your website to load. They will just simply click the back button on their browser and probably never visit your website again. Who knows what that might have cost you? It could have cost a sale, lead, commission, or subscriber all because you wanted to save a few bucks on web hosting.

It’s obvious people don’t have as much patience as they used to. They can just as easily fin the same information some place else. So there is no reason as to why they would wait around.

Also, when you are using poor hosting services, your websites tend to crash. That is big time no-no in this industry. The moment you start seeing that on your site, its time to look for another company, and quickly. This is by far, the very least a hosting company can do is have you site available to the public. If they can’t even do that, then you know everything else is just going to get worse.

It doesn’t take a lot of searching to find many people that have been ripped off by poor hosting services. Many of them even have security issues where people have put viruses on the server.

Think of the travesty they must have faced after all the work going down the toilet, all because some hacker was able to access their information due to poor security from the web host.
