Orientation for new Pakistanis in Calgary

We rented out our community hall to many different events and organizations over the years.  I would like to think they’re we have helped the community grow and make many wedding dreams come true.  I would have to say that our crowning achievement would be that we partnered up with Calgary’s Pakistani community to help with the orientation of new Pakistanis to Canada.

We have been doing this for a number of years now and we have had a number of thank you letters for our support of their program.  We on the board are just happy to help out.

During the orientation program, the attendees are told what to expect on the Class 7 driving test, and are given a package that helps them practice and receive their learners permit.  Almost 99% of the people that attend the orientation program and use them practice material received their drivers license.

They’re also given a map of places that the commonly visit such as Pakistani restaurants and grocery stores that sell Pakistani foods.

By helping out their community, we are able to welcome these people to her wonderful city and help ease the transition that they face.
