Working on a Website Layout

It has taken me about a week, but I have come up with a mock-up of a website template I would like to create.  I know some of you are going to give me the gears about taking so long, but I wanted to get it right the first time.

So now that I have the template on a piece of paper, I needed to figure out how to do it.  I searched within a strong directory for the solution, and I ended up at a designer’s forum.

Looking at the posts on the forum, I found out that pretty much 99% of the developers use Adobe Photoshop to design a thing called a "PSD" that makes it easier to setup your template and change options before you code.

Seeing that I knew nothing about Photoshop (even though I did have it on my computer), I decided to find some Photoshop tutorials online that would help me figure out what I needed to do.

Fast forward ten minutes…

I found some tutorials that will step me through what I need to do.  Alright, I am going to get at it… I hope it turns out okay 🙂
