Simple Way to get an Interview

Well in the few weeks of operating a doughnut stand, I have learned an invaluable lesson – not all resumes are created equal.  Now, we have had some strange ones show up, such as the one on the napkin, and the one with a big grease stain, but there is one tell tale sign that separates them all: quality.

Some of the resumes you read, you can tell that they didn’t pay any attention to the quality of their work.  Resume writing can be compared to writing a paper for school – you write it and proof read it.  Most people that have submitted resumes to us definitely need help in this department.

Yet, once in a while a real gem comes across our counter.  Sometimes you wonder if these people are just really good, or use some sort of resume writing service to do it for them.  But the point is here, that their attention to detail and quality shows, and that is what gets them the interview.  From there we can determine if they are worth hiring or not.
